In order for a “DMCA Take Down Notice” to be sent to Claody by an author (owner of copyright content) who may have found infringing content on the Site, the following requirements are needed for the notification to be processed:
A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright that has been allegedly infringed
A description of the copyrighted works or materials, including the URL where this infringing content is available or a copy of it
Contact information about the notifier including address, telephone number and, if available, e-mail address
A statement in “good faith belief” that the work is not authorized by the copyright owner
A statement made under penalty of perjury that the information provided is accurate and the notifying party is authorized to make the complaint on behalf of the copyright owner.
You can read Copyright Law – 17 U.S.C 512(c)(3) for more information.
Once a designated agent has reviewed the infringement notification, Claody will then:
Remove or disable access to the infringing material
Notify the author that the material has been removed or access has been disabled
If you have any questions, please contact our designated agent at email@example.com
